About Us
Gourmet Catering and Events LCC is a female-owned, family-operated, full-service catering and event planning company in business since 1990. We are passionate about making your event an incredible, memorable and seamless experience and look forward to sharing our expertise with you as we co-create your event.
We work with our clients within their budget and can offer imaginative ideas, menus, logistical support and cutting edge event planning and production, as much or as little as you require. We offer Gluten-free, Organic, Vegetarian and Vegan catering.
Gourmet Catering produces catered events that range in size from 100 to however many guests you are expecting - our largest event was for 8,000 guests. Or we can drop off a luncheon or holiday meal for 50 at your office. Please reserve your holiday date early – we don’t overbook!

HOW TO INCLUDE YOUR PET IN YOUR WEDDING even if they are not in the ceremony
It is a common misconception that including your dog on your wedding day automatically means they must be in your wedding ceremony.
We always encourage couples to consider their pet’s personality when planning their role. If your dog is anxious or easily overwhelmed, the ceremony can be too much stimulation. If your dog is overly excitable, they can get riled up during a formal moment. Some venues also do not permit animals in the ceremony space. Even if the ceremony is not suitable for your pet, they can still be a special part of your wedding day in many meaningful ways.
Ways to include your dog:
Have your dog greet guests as they arrive
Imagine arriving at a wedding to be greeted by tail wags and kisses. This can be a great choice for excitable pups that love everyone. It is also a strong option if your ceremony space is not pet-friendly. Your dog can welcome guests outside and celebrate with everyone once the ceremony is complete.
Include your pet in your wedding photos
Work with your photographer and allow time for photos with your pet. If you are doing a first look, this can be before the ceremony, during formals after, or both. When it is time for bridal party photos, do not forget your Dog of Honor or Best Dog.
Have your pet join you while you are getting ready
It is normal to feel nervous on your wedding day. Quality time with your pet can bring you back to the present moment. It is also a great time for genuine, adorable photos.
Have your pet attend cocktail hour
Let your pet mingle during cocktail hour and your guests will thank you. It adds entertainment while you are taking photos, and it gives friends and family a chance to say hello in person.
Include your pet in the details
If your pet cannot attend in person, you can still pay tribute through signage, table elements, signature drinks, napkins, or a simple announcement moment. Even if your pet can attend, these details are a fun way to celebrate their presence throughout the event.
Do not forget logistics. Once you decide how to include your pet, focus on their needs so they are comfortable on the big day. That way you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands and enjoying the celebration, too.

We serve Orange County, San Diego, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ontario, the San Fernando Valley and the Los Angeles areas. We specialize in off-site catering for private parties, BBQ, holiday parties, corporate events, company picnics, Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations, quinces (Quinceañeras) and weddings throughout Southern California.
We can provide licensed and insured bartending services (type 58), photobooth and photographer, event staffing, entertainment, design, lighting, audio/visual, valet services, and rentals (forks to tents, tables, chairs, linen and everything in between).
Our creative, trained service staff look sharp and love being part of our team. We are professional, FLEXIBLE and love what we do.
We are familiar with, or have catered at, MOST of the party venues and facilities in Southern California. We were the exclusive backstage caterer at Irvine Meadows Amphitheater back in the ‘90’s.
